‘American Idol’ contestant Payton Taylor to perform in Mt. Laurel on May 19

Taylor will open the show for country star William Michael Morgan at Prospectors Steakhouse and Saloon.

Philadelphia-born and Turnersville-raised Payton Taylor, who was first featured on the March 19 episode of the newly revamped reality TV “American Idol” singing competition, will be opening up the show for country star William Michael Morgan on May 19 at Prospectors Steakhouse and Saloon in Mt. Laurel.

Taylor is also is currently recording an album and will have music released very soon.

Advance tickets to the show are $18, with tickets set at $23 at the door.

Doors open at 6, with the show starting around 9 p.m. Seating and standing room is first come, first-served.

Those planning on attending must be age 21 or older to enter and must bring proper identification for entry.
