The event recognized scholars and role models in the community.
On Tuesday, May 1, 10 Williamstown residents attended the annual Tie Ceremony and College Decision Day at Atlantic Cape Community College.
The students who attended were Jadin Shaw, Jacian Shaw, Kris Matthews, Sammy Barber, Osco Williams, Quincy Noel, Xzavier Alexander, Josh Sanders, Lorenzo Rodriguez ad David Roberts .
The event recognized role models in the community with Role Model Awards, presented scholars with the 2018 custom ties and allowed seniors to announce where they plan to attend college. Additional attendees included keynote speaker Thabiti Boone and founder Darell Edmonds.
