Cinnaminson Board of Education appoints new director of curriculum and instruction

Middle School Principal Frank Goulburn will take on the role starting in July

The Cinnaminson Township Board of Education voted April 24 to appoint Middle School Principal Frank Goulburn as the new director of curriculum and instruction.

Goulburn will replace Joseph Miller, who has been serving in the role in an interim capacity.

The move means the district will soon begin a search for a new principal at Cinnaminson Middle School, Superintendent Stephen Cappello said.

Cappello said Goulbourn has enjoyed a “very successful tenure” at the middle school and has helped lift it to new levels.

“We know and believe he will be successful and wish him the best of luck in his new capacity as director of curriculum and instruction,” Cappello said.

Goulburn, who has worked in the district for 17 years, is set to start in the new position July 1. He will be paid $143,500 for the 2018–2019 school year, according to the Board of Education’s agenda.

“I look forward very much to working with you in the future,” Goulburn told the Board. “I look forward continuing to work with my great administrative colleagues I’ve worked with for many, many years and the truly spectacular teachers we have in this school district.”

The Board of Education also appointed Donna Gidjunis to serve as interim business administrator and board secretary retroactive to April 16. She will serve in place of Thomas Egan, who is on a leave of absence from the district.
