The new Caring Club at Radix Elementary School spent the day on Saturday, April 21, cleaning up at the shore. Club members met in Brigantine, New Jersey, to volunteer and help clean the beach of debris for their first-ever event.

From 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the club participated in Clean Ocean Action’s 33rd annual Beach Sweeps. Over 130 participants combed Brigantine’s beach, helping the beach environment and enjoying each other’s company — while supporting a worthwhile cause just before Earth Day.
