Medford Township prepares to acquire a site through eminent domain

Medford Township is prepared to acquire a site for a new municipal building and library through eminent domain. At the last meeting the township council approved an agreement to purchase the property at 51 Union St. through eminent domain.

St. Mary of the Lakes School has annual science fair

Eighth-grade students Emily Valentino and Lexi Smolinski present their virtual reality project at the annual science fair.

The science fair took place on Thursday, April 19, where family members and friends were welcomed into the school to check out the projects from students of all ages, ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade.

About 165 students participated in this year’s science fair, and Kim Martin and Nicole Stouffer hope to encourage even more students to get involved each year. They are planning to jump right into preparation for next year’s science fair, predicted to be held in January.

Shawnee High School BCPSA Academic Award Winners

Shawnee High School senior Sharon Pantano, junior Jacob Delancy, and sophomore Rebecca Leavens were honored on Thursday, April 12 as Shawnee’s recipients of the Burlington County Principals & Supervisors Association award winners.
