Mullica HI’LL CONNECT will offer alerts and reminders about what is happening in your town

As we spring into warmer weather and longer days, I take great pleasure in announcing a new initiative that will further connect all those who share the love for this great town. Mullica HI’LL CONNECT will be the first ever digital platform used by our town to keep all the residents active and up-to-date on all that is happening within the parameters of Mullica Hill and Harrison Township.
Lack of communication or misinformation is a complaint we hear from time to time. With the Mullica HI’LL CONNECT platform, having alerts and reminders of what is happening around you will be as simple as receiving an email or Facebook post. In the coming days and weeks, we will set the wheels in motion to move beyond our current communication capabilities. But to make it successful, we need your help.
Launching on April 23, the town’s website will have an online portal that requires a name, email address, and cell phone number. By providing that information, each resident will begin to receive weekly email updates on events and news around town, powered by 4SureFun Media.
By taking a minute to sign up, you will immediately be included in all the I’LL CONNECT platforms. This effort to enhance the “togetherness” of our town will also include a drive to support local business and the events taking place at various parks, as well as other ways to get involved with your neighbors. This will help to propel Mullica Hill to a more symbiotic future as a growing community.
Because social media is such an accessible platform, we will encourage you to “like” our town’s Facebook Page and follow the monthly calendar. The page will provide you access to the broad scope of events taking place so you can plan your involvement when it best suits your busy schedule.
Don’t worry about clutter, either. It may sound like a lot to get email updates about what’s happening in town, but the plan is not to be an overbearing alert system you’ll be scrambling to unsubscribe from. Text alerts will take place once a month when appropriate, email updates will be delivered weekly and the Mayor Minutes once a month.
This is an exciting time for the Mullica Hill community as we continue our focus on being the best place to live and raise a family in the region. Mullica HI’LL CONNECT will strengthen that bond. Please join me in making this initiative as successful as possible, and that starts with signing up at the online portal.
