Weekly Roundup: Seneca High School Musical, Shamong man charged with animal cruelty, Golf Outing

Seneca High School presents this year’s musical, “The Addams Family”

Sophomore Meghan Hatley, Senior Brady Moore, and sophomore Hannah Butler rehearse their roles as Morticia, Gomez and Wednesday Addams in preparation for the musical showing starting May 3.

Each spring, students from Seneca High School work together to showcase a musical production for the entire community to enjoy. This year’s musical is “The Addams Family” on May 3, 4 and 5 at 7 p.m. in the high school’s auditorium, located at 110 Carranza Road in Tabernacle.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students/seniors, and will be available at the door.

Medford Township Police Department reports of Shamong man charged with animal cruelty

On March 28, a 24 year old Shamong male faced charges after investigation of injuries to his German Shepard, Atlas. He was charged with third degree Animal Cruelty and third degree Theft by deception pending a Burlington County Superior Court hearing.

Shamong Foundation Golf Outing scheduled for April 23

Registration is now underway for the Shamong Foundation Golf Outing, set for Monday, April 23, at Medford Lakes Country Club.

The day begins with registration and lunch at 11:30 a.m. A shotgun start follows at 12:30 p.m. Dinner is at 6 p.m. and awards and an auction begin at 6:30 p.m.
