Free student-athlete seminar set for Wednesday

Nationally-renowned speaker Jack Renkens will lead a 45-minute seminar for student-athletes and their families at Washington Township High School on April 11.

The Washington Township High School athletics department is hosting an night with college recruitment guru Jack Renkens on Wednesday, April 11. The program, titled “It’s a Game…Know the Rules,” kicks off at 7:30 p.m. in the WTHS nine-10 gymnasium, and is free to all WTHS student-athletes and their families.

Renkens is a nationally renowned speaker on the recruiting process, and his 45-minute program can serve as a reality check for families of student-athletes looking to play at the collegiate level. His focus is on exploding the myths and presenting the realities of college recruiting.

Renkens is in his 20th year touring the United States. He has presented more than 2,000 seminars, ranging from keynote speeches at 25 state athletic conferences, Nike Championship basketball and football clinics, college financial planning groups, sports camps and high schools from coast to coast.
