Some Haddonfield residents who oppose revisions the borough commissioners made recently to the Bancroft Redevelopment Plan are taking the Borough of Haddonfield to court.
The plaintiffs contend that despite the overwhelming objections of the Haddonfield Planning Board and the public, the commissioners capitulated to the demands of the project developer (Brian O’Neill of Philadelphia) and amended the 2016 Bancroft Redevelopment Plan to undermine the goal of providing age-targeted housing at the Bancroft property, with no reciprocal benefits to the residents of Haddonfield.

The eight plaintiffs include two former mayors — Jack Tarditi and Tish Colombi.
