GCCC’s Good Friday service to feature Rev. Robert Schenck

Schenck is president and lead missionary of “Faith and Action,” a Christian outreach to elected and appointed officials in Washington, DC.

The Rev. Robert Schenck, from “Faith and Action,” will be the featured guest speaker on Good Friday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gloucester County Community Church in Sewell.

GCCC’s Good Friday observance will reflect on events that transpired more than 2,000 years ago. The commemoration includes worship in song, the Good Friday story, Holy Communion and an inspirational message — including a presentation about a seder dinner — by Schenck.

Schenck is president and lead missionary of “Faith and Action,” a Christian outreach to elected and appointed officials in Washington, DC. Schenck uses storytelling ability, public speaking skills and a sense of humor to provide profound insights into the challenging moral issues that confront our nation. His views on Capitol Hill have given him guest appearance spots on numerous shows, including “On the Record” and “Larry King Live.”

Schenck has spoken with two presidents, former and current speakers of the House, Senate majority leaders, numerous members of Congress and all nine justices of the U.S. Supreme Court.
