Whitman Elementary School Drama Club presents spring musical

This year, the students performed “Freddie Frog and the Mighty MeterGnome.”

The Whitman Elementary School Drama Club is taking audiences on a trip to Treble Clef Island, as they present their annual spring musical, “Freddie Frog and the Mighty MeterGnome.” The club performed the show on Thursday afternoon, March 15, to the student body, and will give their final performance tonight at 7 p.m. for families, friends and the Washington Township community.

Treble Clef Island is home to Freddie Frog, Eli the Elephant and their friends. Most of the characters on the island work together to make brass instruments, and the pace of their work is controlled by the Mighty MeterGnome. However, things go haywire when the MeterGnome is broken, and the workers’ footwork is out of control. Fixing him is a job for Super Frog and Mr. E.
