County announces meeting cancellations and road closures

Some March 8 services cancelled due to weather

Press release issued by Gloucester County:

Please be advised that Gloucester County is closing its Nutrition Sites and cancelling all Serv-A-Tray meals on Thursday, March 8, 2018 due to the weather and safety concerns. Serv-A-Tray clients will be alerted through GC Emergency Alert System.

The regularly scheduled meeting of the Gloucester County Board of Freeholders for 6:30 p.m. tonight has also been canceled.

ROAD CLOSURES in County due to flooding conditions:

State Hwy 130 in Westville
State Hwy 44 in Paulsboro
State Hwy 130 in Logan Twp.

Traffic:

Motor vehicle accidents have increased county wide significantly, major roadways are passable but moving slow at this time.

Motorists should slow down and give public works crews ample room to do their job.
