Music at Bunker Hill will present Piano Quartet Masterworks on March 18 at 3 p.m. Internationally renowned performing artists Catherine Cho, Marcy Rosen, William Frampton, and Ieva Jokubaviciute come together for this program featuring Piano Quartets by Mozart and Faure, both in the key of G minor, and Janacek’s “In the Mists” for piano.
The performance will showcase the possibilities for musical composition by pairing pieces that have the same name and same key by Mozart and Faure. Listeners will hear that the similarity between the two pieces ends there. This will be a MaBH debut for both Ms. Cho and Ms. Jokubaviciute, both artists of highest international esteem. The show will be followed by a free post-concert reception with the artists.
