On Feb. 15, the Board of Chosen Freeholders recognized Kennedy Health & Wellness with a proclamation at a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.

The gym was created through a partnership between Future Fitness and Kennedy Health. Kennedy Fitness & Wellness follows a medical model, offering fitness training specific to various health conditions, with oversight by a medical advisory board. Its team of medical and fitness professionals provides evidence-based exercise and wellness programs designed to improve the quality of one’s life.

Speaking at the event were Louis Manzo, Mayor of Harrison Township; Dr. Greg Taylor, head of the KFW Medical Advisory Board; Glenn Zirbser, Jefferson Health New Jersey CFO; and Heather Simmons, Gloucester County Freeholder and Liaison to economic development.

The new fitness center is located at 167 Bridgeton Pike in Mullica Hill.
