The series, based on true stories, will help bring veterans and community members together in a screening event this upcoming March
On Friday, March 16 at 7 p.m., the community of Monroe Township is uniting to support our veterans in a mosaic of community members, veterans and merchants for a film screening of “Heroic Episodes,” a series based on true veterans’ stories. Veterans and community members will come together for this event, which will be held at VFW Post 1616, located at 1940 N. Black Horse Pike in Williamstown. Tickets are $20, and can be purchased at the VFW Post 1616, or on online at www.picatic.com/heroicepisodes.
The night will be filled with live music from “Rock By Babies” and “Gianna and Matt Caruso,” food, open cash bar and screening of the trailer and series short pilot episode of “The Shooters Nail,” plus interviews with VFW Post 1616 veterans.
Additionally, producer Lisa Regina will hold a question and answer segment with her actors — some who will be traveling all the way from NYC to support our veterans.
A special “Tribute Centerpiece” with a Veterans photo and story, will dress the center of each of the 30 tables on March 16th.
Lisa Regina, creator of the project, is a South Jersey native who has been acting, writing, directing and producing humanitarian projects in NYC for over 20 years. Lisa always makes it a point to come back home to South Jersey to share her projects with her hometown communities.
Merchants of Williamstown, Washington Township and the surrounding areas are joining in to provide food, donations and support our veterans in order to make the night memorable.
“Heroic Episodes” provides our veterans of all branches and wars with jobs as consultants on the project and, more importantly, a chance to tell their stories in each new episode.
