South Jersey Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association to host luncheon in Marlton on March 18

The deadline for ticket purchase is March 7. No walk-in tickets will be available.

On Sunday, March 18, The South Jersey Chapter of The Penn State Alumni Association will host Tina Hay ’83, the editor of The Penn Stater magazine, for a three course buffet luncheon.

Hay will provide a fun, very visual, behind-the-scenes look at what goes into creating Penn State’s award-winning alumni magazine. Attendees will hear some of her tales from the trenches, see a few notable mistakes that have appeared in the magazine and have a chance to take part in a quiz (with prizes) based on some Penn Stater covers from the past 40 years.

The luncheon will be held at Marco’s Restaurant located at 115 S Elmwood Road in Marlton from noon to 4 p.m. A cash bar will be available. There will also be a raffle and prizes. The cost of the event is $35 per person, which includes tax and gratuity.

Tickets can be purchased either on South Jersey Chapter’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pennstatealumnisj or by visiting www.eventbrite.comand searching for “Penn State Tina Hay.”

Alternatively, checks made payable to “Penn State Southern New Jersey Chapter” can be mailed to “Spring Social, 113 Kevin Road, Delran, NJ 08075.” Include an email address for confirmation.
