Obituary: Robert M. Oberholzer

Robert M. Oberholzer passed away at the age of 78 on Feb.13

On Feb. 13, after a short but brave battle with pancreatic cancer, the Lord took Robert (Bob), age 78, of Haddonfield, back into his arms. Bob was the beloved husband of Pat (nee Chadwick); loving father of Chris (Carol) of Loveland, OH, Regina of Haddonfield, Mark (Carolyn) of Louisville, CO, and Kate of London, England and Washington DC; cherished grandfather of Ben (Sally), Matt (Kristen), Joey, Bobby, Rachel, Olivia, Sean & Patrick; treasured great grandfather of Elijah, Sophie, and Savannah and dear brother of Anne Gehring and Beth Pfleger.

In addition to his love for his family, Bob’s passions were playing golf and Single & Gibb, Co., the family business where he succeeded his father and which he owned and operated for decades before retiring in 2008.

Bob’s family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 16, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Avenue, Haddonfield, and again on Saturday, Feb. 17, 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., at Christ the King RC Church, 200 Windsor Ave., Haddonfield; where all are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment, Baptist Cem., Haddonfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 915 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08103 or to Rotary Club of Haddonfield Foundation, PO Box 383, Haddonfield.
