Evesham Township is continuing to promote the township’s Veterans Commemorative Walkway in front of the Evesham Township Municipal Complex.

According to township officials, the walkway is not only a “beautiful addition” to the grounds of the municipal complex, but the walkway also offers residents a “unique” way for people to honor a military veteran that has touched their lives.

By participating in the veterans walkway program, veterans are etched into Evesham’s history forever.

The program allows veterans’ names to be inscribed on a high quality commemorative brick, which is then added to the walkway.

Veterans, or residents who are the friend or loved one of someone who serves or served in the military, can become commemorative walkway partners by joining this program.

The veteran or the person being honored must be or must have been a resident of Evesham Township. Donations for these bricks are $50.

To order a brick to be prominently displayed at the Evesham Commemorative Veterans Walkway, or for additional information, contact the township’s Department of Public Affairs at (856) 985–9792.
