Hardenbergh continues discussions on Bancroft.
Thank you Thom Wagner for your recent letter and invitation for discussion on the Bancroft Development Project. My wife and I have lived in town for close to 12 years. We have become empty nesters and have come to realize our home is too large for us. Our dilemma is where to go and remain for our future years. We have had many discussions and haven’t been able to come to a conclusion. As we have been following the Bancroft Development we became intrigued and felt this might be a viable option. However we have not heard anything “specific” as to what exactly the proposed townhouses will entail. We have heard rumors that they will have elevators to the second floor for which all the bedrooms will be located , which by the way is not what we feel is conducive to our future. For our needs a first floor master bedroom is a must! So after reading Mr. Wagner’s letter we felt he hit the nail on the head as to what we vision as our “dream unit” (only exception we would also recommend a basement) so again, Thank you Mr. Wagner on your insights as to the future of the Bancroft Property and hopefully positive discussions will continue.
