The group’s Annual Benefit Golf Classic and its Benefit Spirits Night will take place in the township later this year.

The 23rd Annual Benefit Golf Classic for Moorestown Visiting Nurses & Hospice will take place on Monday, June 18, at Laurel Creek Country Club, 701 Centerton Road in Mt. Laurel.

The day-long fundraiser is in support of charitable home care, hospice and counseling programs for residents of South Jersey, including Camp Firefly for grieving children.

The day includes breakfast and snacks, putting contest, golf tournament, prizes, afternoon cocktails and buffet and a cash raffle. This is a scramble format tournament and is appropriate for golfers at all levels.

The price to attend is $275 per individual golfer or $1,000 per foursome. Event sponsorships are also available.

Then, on Friday, Oct. 12, Moorestown Visiting Nurses & Hospice will hold its Benefit Spirits Night — Food, Beer, Liquor and Wine Tasting at The Westin Mt. Laurel at 555 Fellowship Road.

The evening features food tastings supplied by the area’s top restaurants, and beer, wine and spirits tastings from around the globe.

The event is sponsored by Benash Liquors of Cherry Hill and draws more than 400 local residents each year. Proceeds benefit charitable home care, hospice and counseling programs for residents of South Jersey, including Camp Firefly for grieving children.

Tickets are $60, with sponsorship packages available.
