Fifteen percent of sales at P.J. Whelihan’s-Washington Township will be donated to the Washington Township Education Foundation
Looking for a post-Super Bowl celebration or a pre-Valentine’s Day dinner? P.J. Whelihan’s-Washington Township (425 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, Sewell) will sponsor a “Dine and Donate” event to benefit the Washington Township Education Foundation on Thursday, Feb. 8. P.J. Whelihan’s will donate 15 percent of all sales on that day to the WTEF in support of the organization’s mini-grants, which fund supplemental programming for students enrolled in the district’s 11 schools. Patrons ordering food and beverages, including take-out orders, and who mention the WTEF on Feb. 8, will directly impact the foundation’s efforts.
“We are thrilled that P.J. Whelihan’s-Washington Township embraces the Washington Township community and has partnered with our education foundation for this fundraiser,” WTEF president Charlie Doud said. “The day provides a win-win situation for the restaurant and our schools. I encourage everyone who wants to help our students and staff to stop by on Feb. 8, or place a take-out order, enjoy great food and beverages and lend their support to the cause.”
