You can skate with zombies in Philadelphia on Friday night or enjoy some authentic Greek food Saturday and Sunday in Egg Harbor Township. These activities and more are taking place across the region this weekend.

Around Berlin

  • Eastern Vikings Ice Hockey “More Than a Beef & Beer” Fundraiser will take place tonight from 7:30 to 11 p.m. at Lucien’s Manor. This event is the league’s primary fundraiser of the year, with proceeds to be used directly toward ice times, league fees and other expenses, in order to keep the cost to our players and their families as affordable as possible.
  • Tomorrow, Boy Scout Troop 48 will host its annual Klondike Derby, starting at 9 a.m. at Pine Hill Scout Reservation on New Freedom Road. The day of scouting activities will include troops from across Camden County.
  • Tomorrow, Berlin Community Center will host a Dance-a-THON in memory of Jody Harvey from 5 to 10 p.m.All proceeds will go towards pediatric cancer research. A $10 donation at the door includes food, games, crafts, dancing and more. The evening will also feature silent auction baskets, a 50–50 raffle and T-shirt sales. The whole family is encouraged to come out and support this great cause while having fun!

Around South Jersey

  • Residents can jump into yoga Saturday morning at the Cherry Hill Public Library. The library will host Yoga for Beginners beginning at 10 a.m. In this class, students will learn to coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next to reduce stress and increase strength. All skill levels are welcome. Participants should bring water, a towel and a mat, and wear comfortable clothing. Practice is done in bare feet.   • Anyone into watches and clocks will want to be at Premier Cadbury, 2150 Route 38 in Cherry Hill on Sunday. The Watch and Clock Enthusiasts group will meet beginning at 10 a.m. in the Oak Room at Premier Cadbury. There will be a video of the presentation Roger Smith at the Horological Association of New York made last month at the meeting. There will also be a show and tell of members’ items that begin with the letter ‘S.’
  • Meet your favorite princesses and superheroes while enjoying a delicious breakfast in Medford this weekend. Shawnee High School will host its Character Breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday. Guests can meet and get photos with characters. There will also be dancing, face painting and more. The cost is $20 per person. Children 2 and under are admitted for free.   • The Markeim Arts Center in Haddonfield is having its annual fundraising gala on Saturday. The event will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. at the center, located at 104 Walnut Street in Haddonfield. The event will include live musical performances, food, ice sculptures and more. Tickets are $85 each and $150 per pair, with proceeds going toward the arts center. At the Jersey Shore

  • Celebrate all things Greek in Egg Harbor Township at the Holy Trinity Greek Winter Feast. The festival will be open from noon to 11 p.m on Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 7004 Ridge Avenue in Egg Harbor Township. In Philadelphia

  • Hit the ice with some scary creatures at the Rothman Ice Rink in Philadelphia’s Dilworth Park on Friday night. A special Zombie Skate will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Skate with zombies, spin the prize wheel to win prizes and enjoy zombie-themed karaoke and food specials. Those who come dressed as a zombie can enter to win a four-pack of tickets to the Rothman Rink. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. Skate rental is $10.   • Penn Museum will ring in the Chinese New Year on Saturday with a day-long special event. World Culture Day: Chinese New Year Celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Penn Museum, 3260 South Street in Philadelphia. Guests can enjoy music and dance, tai chi and tangram workshops, a Kung Fu demonstration, storytelling, crafts and more. The day ends with the Grand Finale Lion Dance Parade.
