Police offering $5,000 reward for information on Williamstown homicide

Information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person, or persons, responsible for the fatal shooting of Steve M. Bucher will be rewarded

The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office and the Monroe Township Police Department are jointly offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the fatal shooting of Steve M. Bucher.

Bucher, 56, was found deceased in his home in the Timber Lakes section of Monroe Township on Jan. 10. An autopsy concluded the cause of his death was a gunshot wound and the manner of death was homicide.

Based on the information and evidence collected to date, there is no danger to the community related to this incident. Any indication to the contrary in the ongoing investigation will result in notification of the public.
