Burlington Township BOE now accepting Pre-K Enrollment Agreements

Forms must be submitted by Feb. 15 for selection eligibility

The Burlington Township Board of Education will again offer an integrated Pre-Kindergarten program for the 2018–19 school year.

The number of available seats will be determined mid-January once budget projections are completed. Available seats will be for students in the Township who have reached their fourth birthday on or before October 1, 2018. The 3-year old program will be available for students in the Township who have reached their third birthday on or before October 1, 2018. Selection for both programs will be by random lottery drawing for all students who complete and return the Pre-K Enrollment Agreement by 4 p.m. on Feb. 15.

These forms may be downloaded from www.burltwpsch.org, or visit the BOE Business Office located at 700 Jacksonville Rd. Hopkins Building door #16. Forms must be returned directly to the Business Office. Their office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or by arrangement. Actual student registration will occur following the lottery process.

Due to the budget constraints and no funding from the NJ Department of Education, the 2018–19 Burlington Township School District Pre-K Program annual tuition fee for each student will be $1,475. Tuition will be waived for students who qualify for the “Free Lunch” program. An annual tuition fee of $600 will be charged to general education students who qualify for the “Reduced Lunch” program.

Both lotteries will be drawn at the BOE work session meeting on Feb. 21 at 6:00 P.M.

Please call 609–387–3955 ext. 2067 if you have any questions.

The Y will also be available to provide the wrap around program. You must contact them directly for further information.
