Evesham Education Foundation to hold annual Wine, Dine & Win Fundraiser on Feb. 2

The annual event is back for another year of wine, food and casino games to raise money for the Evesham Education Foundation.

It’s lucky No. 7 for the Evesham Education Foundation with the group’s seventh annual Wine, Dine & Win! fundraiser on Feb. 2.

The annual event is back for another year to help raise money for the Evesham Education Foundation by offering guests a fun night out featuring wine, food and casino games.

With the event once again booked for The Mansion in Voorhees, guests will have a chance to try wines from 80 vendors provided through WineWorks of Marlton, along with food from local restaurants such as Brio, Allora, Outback, Flemings, Bertucci’s, Classic Cake, Chickie’s & Pete’s, Good Foods to Go, Shop Rite Al La Catering, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza and Maria’s Mom’s Italian Cookie Cupboard.

Along with wetting their whistles and grabbing a bite to eat, guests can also enjoy the casino-like atmosphere of the evening with games such as craps, roulette and blackjack.

Guests can also try their luck with one of the night’s basket auctions or by entering the event’s super 50/50 raffle where the winner can take home up to $10,000.

Evesham Education Foundation president Karl Eckstrom describes the event asunique, with more than 30 corporate sponsors and an average attendance of 450 guests.

In addition to the night of fun, Eckstrom said guests would also be supporting the work of the Evesham Education Foundation, which funds several initiatives throughout the year in the Evesham Township School District.

“The great part is all the money raised goes pack into programs for children in the Evesham Township School District to help so many of the township’s different children,” Eckstrom said.

Just some of the foundation’s past work includes the following:

• The Coordinated Arts Program for Primary Students, which runs as a four-week summer program every year for pre-kindergarten students who demonstrate a need during their spring screening for additional assistance in developing their social or academic skills

• The Genesis Counseling Program, which allows middle school students to meet with student-assistance counselors during lunch periods throughout the year and potentially receive information of resources for families

• The Metamorphosis Program, which runs as a middle school enrichment program during the summer for students entering seventh grade where students can develop social and emotional skills, as well as improve relationships with their peers

The Evesham Education Foundation’s seventh annual Wine, Dine & Win! fundraiser will be held on Feb. 2 from 7 to 11 p.m. at The Mansion in Voorhees at 3000 Main St.

Regular tickets for the event are $90, with VIP tickets $130.
