Senior Elaina Hansen overcomes injury to lead Clearview girls basketball
After finishing her junior season with 935 career points, it appeared reaching the 1,000 career points milestone would be a cinch for Clearview Regional High School girls basketball’s Elaina Hansen. Hansen scored her 1,000th point in the team’s fourth game of the season on Dec. 23 against Cherry Hill High School East. Through the first eight games of the 2017–18 season, Hansen is Clearview’s leading scorer, averaging 20.2 points per game.
Harrison Township Police Department implements new body worn camera program
For the first time, Harrison Township police officers will be wearing body-worn cameras during their shifts, recording almost all interactions with the public. According to Chief of Police Thomas Mills, while the cameras will provide additional opportunities to record evidence at the scene, the equipment will also allow quality control, accountability and credibility for officers and the community.

A new attitude has permeated the Clearview Regional High School boys basketball program. After missing the playoffs and winning 12 games combined over the past two years, an experienced group of seniors is hungry to get the Pioneers back to the postseason and in contention for the Tri-County Conference Royal Division title.
