On Campus: Moorestown students make the grade in college

Moorestown students are earning top honors.

Moorestown residents are earning dean’s list distinction. A handful of students have made the dean’s list for their hard work this fall.

John Engleman, a junior Criminal Justice major at York College of Pennsylvania, has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2017 semester. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Jamie Blair Rafter has been named to the fall 2017 dean’s List at Kutztown University. More than 1,725 students have been named to the list, and to be eligible for dean’s list recognition, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Evelyn Paquette from the class of 2019 was named to the fall 2017 Honors List at Pomfret School. To achieve this level of distinction, Paquette earned a grade point average of at least 3.330 and received no grade lower than a B-.

Bucknell University has released the dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2017–2018 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition. Jessie Britton, class of 2020; Amber Coleman, class of 2021; Ross Lazarus, class of 2020 and Marlee Warwick, class of 2019 were named to the list.

Gabrielle Basara has been inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success at Kutztown University. The society is the nation’s largest leadership honor society. Students are selected by their college for membership based on either academic standing or leadership potential. Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction.

Students at Lehigh University attained dean’s list in fall 2017. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses. The following local students earned Dean’s List status for the Fall 2017 semester: Thomas Bolte, Kendall Coughlin, David LaGatta, Ashini Patel, Olivia Sowa and Katie Teitelbaum.

Chloe Kenney was named to dean’s list for spring 2017at Susquehanna University.
