Over 1400 students were named to the dean’s list at York College of Pennsylvania for the fall semester. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher. Shamong residents on the list include Bridget Kurp, a senior nursing major, and Kathryn Swope, a junior early elementary/special education major.
Tyler Estlow, of Shamong, graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in communication during commencement exercises Dec. 15, 2017, at Coastal Carolina University. More than 700 students were candidates for graduation in the ceremony held at the HTC Student Recreation and Convocation Center on campus.
