Join the Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library in Washington Township for “Queen Victoria, circa 1860” on Thursday, Jan. 11, at 7 p.m.

Did you think Queen Victoria was a stuffy old lady who never smiled? Well, you’re in for a surprise when you join the library for a visit with the monarch. Learn about her childhood, her passion for Albert and the many amazing things that happened to her during her reign. How many assassination attempts can one woman survive? Queen Victoria comes in the year 1860, before Albert’s death, so you’ll be amazed by the beautiful gown and her majestic demeanor. Victoria has quite a naughty sense of humor, too.
