A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30 at the Lewis Funeral Home in Moorestown.
John S. Whitney of Moorestown passed away on Sunday, Dec. 24 at the age 88. John was a member of the USS New Jersey Lodge #62 F. & AM and a member of the Scottish Rite of South Jersey.
He was the husband of Helen (nee Yeager) and the father of John S. (Sandy) Whitney, Daniel W. (Pamela) Whitney, Denise W. Casario and Matthew D. (Krista) Whitney. He was the brother of Mark ( Irmgard) Whitney and the late Augustus, Paul and Richard Whitney. John is also survived by 14 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30 at the Lewis Funeral Home located at: 78 E. Main St. in Moorestown. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Interment will be private.
