Fun for teens and tweens at the library

The Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library has fun activities planned during the week of school vacation

The Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library in Washington Township has some fun activities planned for teens and tweens in grades six through 12 during the week the schools are closed.

Can your group solve the puzzles and “Save the Township’s Snow Days?” Join the library on Tuesday, Dec. 26, at 11 a.m. and find out. Prizes will be given for those who return the township’s snow days.

Create some jewelry for yourself or a friend on Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 2 p.m. All supplies will be provided.

On Thursday, Dec. 28, at 10:30 a.m., choose one of the library’s ceramic or wooden pieces to paint. All supplies will be provided.

Enjoy some snacks and play some old-school board games on Friday, Dec. 29, at 3 p.m.

These events are open to Heggan Library cardholders in grades six through 12 only. Advance online or phone registration is required for each event. Please visit www.hegganlibrary.org, or call the library at (856) 589–3334, to reserve your spot.
