Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables were on the menu at Joe’s Place in Camden, thanks to a volunteer effort from the Silver Diner in Cherry Hill. Silver Diner employees prepared and served the healthy meal to more than 130 guests, including individuals and families.

Sponsored by Sacred Heart Church, Joe’s Place — located on Broadway and Ferry — provides free meals to the underserved every Saturday, and relies on volunteers to donate food and their time.
