A 2002 graduate of St Joseph’s University, Geoffrey Eickhoff received a bachelor’s degree in food marketing and went to work full-time in the family business. He held a number of management positions with the company before being named vice president of operations in 2010. He has played a key role in recent years in developing and opening the company’s new and remodeled ShopRite stores, and he also serves as lead labor contract negotiator for the company.

“Geoff is unwavering in his pursuit of excellence and customer service, and I have every confidence he will lead this company to continued and future success,” said CEO Karl Eickhoff, a fourth-generation grocer who has served Burlington County residents for nearly 50 years. “Geoff also grew up in the business and has strong connections to our stores and the communities where they operate.”

The Eickhoff family opened their first grocery store in Levitttown, PA, in 1955 and went on to open four supermarkets in New Jersey from 1968 to 1993. The family joined the retailer-owned cooperative Wakefern Food Corp. in 1998, and today two generations of family members help run the family’s five ShopRite stores in Burlington County.

“I’m very excited to have the opportunity to lead the business forward during a very exciting time in the grocery industry,” said Eickhoff. “As a family-owned business, we have a long commitment to Burlington County, our associates and our customers, and I’m proud to carry on that tradition.”

Eickhoff resides in Lumberton, NJ, with his wife Kristy and their three children.
