Eileen Olson, 48, passed away due to a tragic accident on Dec. 5. She was the beloved wife of Timothy Olson of Phillipsburg, NJ; devoted mother of John; cherished sister of Dr. Mark McKenney of Kailua, HI, Marilyn McKenney of Haddonfield, NJ, Matthew McKenney (Dr. Phyllis Ann Dioguardi) of Philadelphia, PA and Kathleen Cree (Christopher) of Clinton, NJ and dear aunt of Connor McKenney and Michael McKenney, Hannah and John Cree, Von and Alivia Olson and Stephanie and Jacob Glaser.
Eileen graduated from Haddonfield Memorial HS (Class ’87) and Harcum College. She was the administrative team leader at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in Whippany, NJ. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends as well as going to the beach, being a karate mom “dojo mom” and volunteering her time at her son’s school.
Eileen’s family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 9, 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., at Christ the King RC Church, 200 Windsor Ave., where her Memorial Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be made to the John Olson Trust Fund, please call (973) 358–4921 and ask for the “Fund for John Olson.” Arrangements are by Kain-Murphy Funeral Services of Haddonfield, NJ.
