Officials with the department say Beuschel was conducting surveillance in a Evesham neighborhood in November when he observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and requested for an officer to stop the vehicle.

During the stop, police say offices established probable cause to complete a search of the vehicle.

According to police, heroin was recovered from the search and two subjects were arrested for CDS offenses. Beuschel then debriefed one of the arrestees and he utilized his investigative skills and identified a suspected heroin dealer who would delivery heroin to Evesham Twp. A proactive narcotics investigation was commenced using this information and the dealer was arrested with nearly 100 individual bags of heroin.
