Girl Scouts Sew for Charity

Local Girl Scout Troop 20118 sews christmas stockings to help less fortunate this holiday season.

On November 19th, 170 Girl Scouts from Troop 20118 went to Cattell’s Sew Vac and Sewing Academy in Medford to sew stockings for charity. The troops then took the stockings, filled them, and donated them to Providence House Domestic Violence Services (PHDVS) of Catholic Charities. Cattell’s sewing students volunteered to help the scouts use the sewing machines. This event was organized by Bridget Gras who also donated her time to help the Girl Scouts sew.
