Two suspects fled the scene of the Nov. 11 incident
Washington Township police are investigating an attempted robbery at the Cricket Wireless store, located in the Crosskeys Commons on the Black Horse Pike, on Saturday, Nov. 11.
According to police, two black males had entered the store at approximately 2 p.m. One of the suspects attempted to the leave the store with three cellphones that had been on display, but when an employee intervened, the staff member was pushed to the ground.
The release said a brief struggle ensued, with one of the suspects making a threat of a handgun, although none was produced. Both of the subjects fled the scene.
Police report both males wore black hooded sweat shirts; one was approximately six-foot tall, the other approximately five-foot, four-inches tall.
