Wedgwood Elementary School third-graders, from left, Paige Sawyer, Kylie Berk, Marco Barilotti and Giselle Pescatore display their Mustang Math Packs containing numerous math activities and games that students can enjoy at home. The packs were made available through a grant from the Washington Township Education Foundation.

With funding secured through a Washington Township Education Foundation grant, every third-grade classroom at Wedgwood Elementary School has been outfitted with a Mustang Math Pack — a canvas bag full of math games, challenges, puzzles and more.

Each third-grade student will be able to bring home the Mustang Math pack to enjoy. The pack contains: the game “24” to practice multiplying and dividing; a picture book to enjoy a math story; tangrams to learn about geometry and spatial relations; a cookbook to help learn measurement, a clock to practice time and many other activities to explore.
