Washington Township unofficial Board of Education election results

Three Washington Township BOE seats up for grabs in Tuesday’s election

Today, Washington Township voters cast their ballots in the 2017 General Election. Locally, residents will elect three, three-year, full-term Board of Education members.

According to the Gloucester County Board of Election’s unofficial results, incumbents Ginny Murphy and Julie Yankanich will be joined by newcomer Raymond Dinvoi Jr. to fill the open Washington Township Public School District Board of Education seats.

The unofficial results report Murphy received 6,588 votes, Yankanich with 5,665 votes, and Dinovi with 5,017.

Additional challenging candidates were Thomas Gleason with 4,555 votes and Dominick Ruggiero Jr. with 4,588 votes.

All results are unofficial until the board of elections certifies them. These numbers do not include mail-in or provisional ballots.
