Jefferson Health New Jersey to host free program for widows, widowers

The program will take place on Nov. 14 at the Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library

Area residents age 60 and older are invited to a free program on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library featuring advice for women and men who have lost a spouse.

Jefferson Health New Jersey’s PrimeTime, a free health and wellness program, sponsors “My Loved One Has Passed, Now What?” for active older adults in South Jersey, but the event is open to non-members as well.

Join Todd Woodside, funeral director at Egizi Funeral Home, and Jason Gabrieli of HFM Financial Advisors, as they dive into three distinct phases of widowhood/widowerhood, as well as various emotional and financial issues often facing bereaved spouses. Attendees will learn skills for helping make important decisions regarding the next phase of their life.

Registration is required. Visit www.kennedyhealth.org/classes, or calling 1–800–522–1965.
