Tomorrow, Nov. 9, Camden County will host a career fair specifically for veterans at the Crowne Plaza located at 2349 Marlton Pike West (Route 70)Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
The Camden County Freeholder Board and the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey are sponsoring the Camden County Veterans Career Fair for veterans, active duty military, members of the Guard and Reserve and military families.
“We are committed to our nation’s veterans and want to assist them in every way possible after they have honored us with their service,” said Freeholder Bill Moen, liaison to the Camden County Office of Veterans Affairs. “That is why we are proud to join the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey to present the Camden County Veterans Career Fair.”
The Camden County Veterans Career Fair will give job seekers the opportunity to meet face to face with numerous employers offering a wide range of positions. In addition, workshops will be offered to veterans and other military job seekers that focus on interview techniques, resume writing and job search resources.
“Bring plenty of copies of your resume and dress for success, since this is a great opportunity for veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses to connect with local and national employers offering current job openings,” Moen said. “The Camden County Veterans Job Fair is a great opportunity for veterans who have recently ended their military career to transition into civilian life. It is also ideal for veterans who are unemployed or are underemployed to find their next job.”
