The November meeting of The General Club of The Haddon Fortnightly will be held on Friday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. The meeting will be held at The Haddon Fortnightly Clubhouse, 301 Kings Highway East.

The program for the meeting will be a presentation by Sarah Rice, the archivist of Campbell Soup Company. Her illustrated overview of the Company’s 150-year history will provide a fascinating perspective on how Campbell’s history and development are interwoven with American history and the growth of southern New Jersey. Light refreshments will be served at the meeting.

The Haddon Fortnightly is a civic and social club for women; the meeting is free and all are welcome to attend. We ask that all who attend the Nov. 17 meeting bring a can of Campbell’s soup, or other non-perishable food item for donation to the Food Bank of South Jersey. For more information, contact Patricia Underwood, President, at (856) 429–9123 or by email at [email protected].
