Marlton’s Promenade at Sagemore shopping center to hold annual tree lighting on Nov. 17

Guests can visit the Promenade’s center court from 5 to 8 p.m. for trolley rides, fun activities and a visit with Santa Claus.

The Promenade at Sagemore shopping center, located on S. Route 73 in Marlton, is welcoming the holidays with what Promenade officials describe as a brighter-than-ever Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Guests that visit center court that evening will be treated to entertainment that includes a special seasonal concert featuring Hotsy Totsy Gals and Dave Kelly, in addition to trolley rides, fun activities, and visits with Santa Claus.

Light refreshments will also be available courtesy of Rastelli’s Market Fresh, LaScala’s Fire, L.L. Bean, Plow & Hearth, Redstone American Grill and more.

Locals are invited to join in on the countdown and light the tree with special guests and local dignitaries and shop exclusive store discounts until 9 p.m.

Officials also note that while The Promenade at Sagemore wishes to make spirits bright for all who shop the center the whole year through, the shopping center also strives to brighten the holidays for those especially in need of support.

Visitors are encouraged to consider The Promenade as their donation location for holiday gifts and/or pet supply contributions this season. Officials say all donations are greatly appreciated and benefit the Center for Family Services and local animal shelters and rescues.

Supporters can bring their items to the tree lighting event on Nov. 17 or drop them off daily at the center’s concierge services.
