Haddonfield Friends Meeting will offer a program entitled, “Reflections on the Vietnam War…

Haddonfield Friends Meeting will offer a program entitled, “Reflections on the Vietnam War: Friends’ Stories and Lessons Learned”

Worship begins at 10 a.m., and will be followed by the program shortly after 11 a.m. It will be followed by a potluck lunch at 12:15 p.m. HFM is located at 45 Friends Avenue.

Haddonfield Friends Meeting will offer a program entitled, “Reflections on the Vietnam War: Friends’ Stories and Lessons Learned.”

The program will begin with stories and reflections from a Vietnam veteran, two Conscientious Objectors, and two local peace activists; all are Friends (also known as Quakers) today. Their presentations will be followed by discussion on the impact of the Vietnam War at the personal, national and international levels, and the meaning of patriotism.

This program will be held on Sunday, Nov. 19. Worship begins at 10 a.m., and will be followed by the program shortly after 11 a.m. It will be followed by a potluck lunch at 12:15 p.m. HFM is located at 45 Friends Avenue. The public is welcome to join.
