- Winslow Township is hosting a fall festival fused with fire prevention on Saturday. The event will be held Miller’s Farm, located at 134 Grove Street, Berlin, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- The Berlin Fall Fest has become a signature family-oriented day of fun. Strolling down West Broad Avenue in downtown Berlin, folks will enjoy a variety of activities and entertainment for all ages. Car show, Food trucks, beer garden and a variety of crafters will line the street.The fest will feature all-day bands, a rock climbing wall, pumpkin painting, “Mutt Strut” dog costume parade, “Battle of the Badges” Sumo Wrestling competition and some new exciting ideas, like the Little Miss Beauty Pageant and a Halloween Tour. - Gloucester Township is hosting the South Jersey Chapter walk on Sunday, at Camden County College’s Blackwood Campus, located at 200 College Drive, Gloucester Township.The three-mile walk kicks off at 9:30 a.m. with check-in beginning at 8 a.m. The national event raises funds for scientific research to better treat, prevent and ultimately cure type 1 diabetes.
- Dare to meander the spooky path plagued with ghosts and ghoul. But watch out — while you’re keeping an eye out for the paranormal, a screwball armed with a chainsaw could strike. There is no charge for the trail, but any offerings will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Located at 311 Harrison Ave. in Blackwood, the trail is open Oct. 20, 21, 27 28, 29, and 31 from 7 to 9 p.m.
- The first Taste of Cherry Hill is coming to Cherry Hill High School East this weekend. The event will take place on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. in the high school’s cafeteria. Numerous local eateries will be giving out samples of their best dishes. Admission on the day of the event is $12 for adults and $7 for kids 12 and under. - Prior to Taste of Cherry Hill, residents can swing by the Cherry Hill East parking lot for the school’s Community Yard and Vendor Sale. - Haddonfield’s third annual Police and Community Day will take place at Borough Hall on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will include police, fire, EMS and swat vehicles on display, a K-9 demonstration, bike safety rodeo, food, music, entertainment and more. - Octoberfest will arrive in Sea Isle City on Saturday. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Excursion Park, located at 40th Street and Pleasure Avenue. The event includes hay rides on the beach, a pie baking contest, moon bounces for the kids, pumpkin painting, music, games and more. The event is free to attend and will be held, rain or shine. - Halloween arrives early in Cape May this weekend. Cape May’s annual Halloween Parade will take place on Sunday with registration beginning at 1:30 p.m. on the corner of Perry Street and Washington Street. The parade will begin at Perry Street and Carpenter Lane, proceed down Carpenter Lane to Ocean Street, travels down Washington Street and ends at the Emlen Physick Estate located at 1048 Washington Street. Prizes will be awarded in different age groups at the end of the parade. There will also be trick or treating from noon to 2 p.m. at the Washington Street Mall.
