For the second year, the office has joined with the Marlton Elks Club 2514 and Elks Southwest District to collect flags to be properly retired.

According to the office, The United States Flag Code instructs that when a flag is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, it should be destroyed in a dignified way.
