WTHS television group gets special tour of Citizens Bank Park operations

The Washington Township High School Monthly Rewind team had a chance to go behind the scenes at the home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Washington Township High School Monthly Rewind team recently had a chance to go behind the scenes at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Washington Township High School graduate and Philadelphia Phillies employee Mike Licisyn gives a tour of the team’s production facilities to WTHS Monthly Rewind students.

Monthly Rewind is a variety program produced by students in Marty Bouchard’s advanced telecommunications classes. One of Bouchard’s former students, Mike Licisyn, works for the Phillies, and he set up a tour of the production and broadcast facilities for the WTHS students.

The group was able to see how game production is done, had a question-and-answer session with broadcaster Scott Palmer, met stadium public address announcer Dan Baker and chatted with former Phillie and TV announcer Gary Matthews.
