Washington Township Education Foundation to Sponsor Comedy Show Oct. 21

Headliners include Chris Coccia, Bob Marsdale and Vince Valentine

Local standup comics Chris Coccia, Bob Marsdale and Vince Valentine will contribute to a laugh-out-loud night of fun when the Washington Township Education Foundation sponsors a comedy show on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. at Rastelli Kids Complex, located at 1855 Hurffville Road, Sewell. In addition to the comedy, attendees also will be able to purchase chances for an authentic Louis Vuitton handbag and participate in a 50/50 raffle.

Patrons are encouraged to bring their own beverages, snacks and sense of humor for what promises to be a night of levity and laughter. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

Non-refundable show admission tickets are $30 each. Handbag chances will be sold for $20 each, or two chances for $30. All checks should be made payable to the Washington Township Education Foundation and may be mailed to: Charlie Doud, WTEF President, 206 East Holly Avenue, Sewell, NJ, 08080.

Headliners will include:

Chris Coccia: Chris Coccia has appeared on Comedy Central, The Game Show Network and XM Radio and is a frequent guest of several Philadelphia-based radio shows. His full schedule has him working in the country’s top comedy clubs and entertaining at corporate events and on college campuses. He was the 2008 Purina Pet Comedy Challenge winner, a national event where he captured the $10,000 prize.

Bob Marsdale: Voice-over talent, entertainment business owner and former disc jockey Bob Marsdale also remains active as a stand-up comic throughout the region. Marsdale is known for his dead-on impersonations and observational humor. He has appeared at the Tropicana, Taj Mahal, Mohegan Sun and Parx casinos and was a semifinalist in John Debella’s 102.9 WMGK’s Comedy Competition. Marsdale also was featured in “Stuff Philly Fans Say” on the WIP Morning Show with Angelo Cataldi.

Vince Valentine: Philadelphia native Vince Valentine has been performing in “Defending the Caveman” since 2004. He was selected from 1,500 actors as one of five finalists for NBC10’s “Best Summer Gig Ever” traffic contest and was a finalist in Philadelphia’s 93.3 WMMR’s “Philly’s Last Comic Standing.” He toured throughout the United States in “The Soapranos,” an interactive parody of the HBO TV series.
