The Borough of Palmyra is accepting applications for a full-time Code Enforcement Officer (CEO).
The CEO is responsible for enforcement of property maintenance codes and related ordinances such as non-compliant conditions on private and public property including unsanitary or potentially dangerous conditions; accumulations of garbage and refuse; and unsightly conditions of property and structures.
The CEO is also responsible for proper administration of the Borough’s vacant and abandoned property ordinances. At a minimum the successful applicant will be a licensed NJ Housing Inspector or UCC Building or Fire Inspector.
