Spirits Night at the Mansion: sip to support SJ counseling programs

Moorestown Visiting Nurses & Hospice will host “Spirits Night at The Mansion” on Friday, Oct. 20 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Moorestown Visiting Nurses & Hospice invite the community to attend its annual benefit food, wine and beer tasting known as “Spirits Night at The Mansion.” The event will take place at the Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees on Friday, Oct. 20 from 6 to 9 p.m.

More than 350 people are expected attendance. Tickets are available to public, and those planning to attend must be at least 21-years-old.

Spirits Night at The Mansion is in support of charitable home care, hospice and counseling programs for residents of South Jersey, including Camp Firefly for grieving children. The 2017 major sponsors include: Sun National Bank, Holman Enterprises, Heritage Business Systems, McKesson Medical Surgical, Mainline Medical Supplies, PJW Restaurant Group and Bowman & Company.

The evening’s highlights include:

  • More than 30 tables of generous tastings of domestic and international wines and beer sponsored by Benash Liquors of Cherry Hill. Liquor tasting is also available this year.
  • Plentiful food and dessert samplings by many top area chefs, bakers and caterers. Local favorites participating include: Harvest Seasonal Grill, Seasons 52, Caffé Aldo Lamberti, Distrito, Roly Poly, Dunkin’ Donuts and The Mansion. Chefs from Lutheran Crossings in Moorestown, 5-Star Senior Living, Powerback of Moorestown and Brookdale Florence will also be on hand. Many other local restaurants expected to participate.
  • Silent auction, wine pull, cash raffle, games and prizes.
